I see that eStore cannot handle subscription payments when using the Authorize.net gateway. I am working on a site for a client who does not want to use paypal, plus they are already set up with authorize.net.
I saw on Authorize.net’s website they accept recurring payments. Are will able to activate recurring payments if we use the Custom File Add On? If not, why are we not able to do this.

September 27, 2010 at 1:10 pm #24769amyd511MemberIs this a difficult implementation? or is it something I could have a php developer spend a couple hours on?
September 28, 2010 at 2:24 am #24770amin007ParticipantCreating a button to make a subscription payment is not hard as all of these are documented here:
http://www.authorize.net/solutions/merchantsolutions/merchantservices/automatedrecurringbilling/
The hard part is to do the post payment processing for this subscription payment keeping all the eStore feature (for example a member account needs to be created for eMember, affiliate commission needs to be awarded for affiliate platform etc).
Authorize.net only allows US based merchants so it’s not the most popular payment gateway among my customers so I have never spent much time exploring the recurring payment option of Authorize.net
February 15, 2011 at 8:56 pm #24771cardscompMemberI too am looking for this capability. Of course I already purchased the software before reading the little block of red text near the authorize.net plugin download.
Currently there aren’t any plugins that allow this yet. eMember is the closest thing that gives me paid subscriber capabilities and a proper checkout procedure.
Would love to see this implemented.
February 17, 2011 at 3:44 pm #24772cardscompMemberas a matter of fact, even if the user can purchase a one-time subscription to the website that expires after a certain amount of time, that would be perfect.
February 17, 2011 at 8:41 pm #24773cardscompMemberI do not think you need to have a recurring billing account with Authorize.net in order for this to work. The guy that makes the WP-Member http://wp-member.com/ software allows for recurring payments. I’m just not entirely sure how he did it. Is there anything that can be done?
August 30, 2011 at 9:29 pm #24774mrdanMemberIs there support for Automatic Recurring Billing (ARB) functionality for Authorize.net AIM in WP eStore in the current version?
August 31, 2011 at 2:22 am #24775adminKeymasterARB will be available in the “Payment Gateway Bundle” plugin in a few days:

April 26, 2012 at 6:52 pm #24778GinaMemberHi,
Has this functionality been added yet?
I have someone who wants to purchase e-store, but they need it to work with Authorize.net Recurring payments.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Gina
April 26, 2012 at 11:49 pm #24779adminKeymasterYes, you can use Authorize.net recurring payments (ARB) via the payment gateway bundle plugin:
