Hi,
I am using the eStore plug-in as part of our local am-dram website (www.bathfordplayers.co.uk). We are successfully selling tickets for our shows and are very happy with it!
Only problem is, the committee of the group has assigned someone to be the ticket administrator for shows. This isn’t a problem in itself, but the user only has contributor permissions for the rest of the wordpress site, and can’t see the eStore admin pages when she logs in to the site.
Can I add eStore permissions to her login so when she logs in to wordpress she gets usual contributor permissions and full access to the eStore functions?
Many thanks,
Jeremy.
Webmaster – Bathford Players.
I understand your situtation… WP eStore like any other plugin requires the logged in user to be admin before they can make any changes.
You can’t assign a particular use to have access to eStore but what you can do is make eStore menus available for any logged in users. This way both admins and editors will be able to use it.
If this solution sounds feasible then let me know and I will tell you what tweak you need to achieve this.
Hi there,
Yes – please let me know what tweaks I need to do to achieve this – then I’ll make the ticket administrator an editor with associated permissions so she can see the store. I look forward to your reply…..!
Many thanks for the response.
Cheers,
Jeremy.

I’m having the same issue. I tried the suggested hack, but it didn’t seem to work. Any other suggestions?
