I am having trouble figuring out how to assign multiple level purchases, made at one time, to a single member login. If they purchase the levels separately then the system, of course, offers them to login to existing account and assigns those multiple levels to that existing/single login.
Here are the scenarios to help better explain the problem we’re having:
Level 1 – is primary product sale
Level 2 – is upsell and/or later upgrade
Level 3 – is upsell and/or later upgrade
SCENARIO 1:
If they purchase Levels 1, 2 and 3 at one time – they register and only (primary) Level 1 access is shown available in their account and we have to manually assign Levels 2 and 3 for them.
SCENARIO 2:
If they purchase Level 1 and at a later time purchase Level 2 or 3 then when they land on the registration page they can sign in with existing login which assigns the new levels to their account under a single login.
How do I set up our member system to properly handle assigning a multiple level single/one-time purchase to a single member login?

Since you are buying 3 memberships in one go the plugin is getting confused as to which one should be the primary membership (it can’t handle that). Let me look at the code and see what I can do.
October 20, 2011 at 8:53 pm #35075keaneMemberWas there ever a solution found for this? I have the same issue. I am selling access to videos and ach video corresponds to a different membership level. I want to allow my customers to buy multiple videos at one time, usually at initial point of contact and I want them to have access to those videos immediately.
October 21, 2011 at 6:04 am #35076adminKeymasterThis shouldn’t be an issue as long as the member has an account already. When you have a member account you can buy multiple items in one go and the plugin will add all those items to your member account. For first time signup payment (when you don’t have an account or anything) you can’t buy 5 items as the plugin won’t have any way of determining the primary level.
If it helps, you can modify your member registration flow so that users have to sign up first before they can make a purchase (see the 3rd scenario):

October 25, 2011 at 1:32 am #35077bethalexSpectatorIf a member has purchased multiple membership levels will they see all their levels when they login. So in the scenario keane mentions, will they have a central point where they can see the links to all the videos they purchased?
October 25, 2011 at 5:42 am #35078adminKeymasterThey will have access to all the content that those levels permit. You can create a hub page that links to all the members only content (You will be able to protect the individual posts and pages so one a member with the correct level permission will be able to see it). More details here:
