Hi all,
We are using v7.8.9 and someone accidentally clicked the “Create WP account for eMember users”
For whatever reason, that seemed to change the admin user to a Subscriber. But I was able to go into the database and fix.
My real question is would that have reset all the eMember users’ passwords? Or would their eMember passwords be the same but the password for the WP account is reset.
I just want to make sure that didn’t change any of the eMember logins.
Also, can I safely delete the WP accounts without affecting the eMember accounts? We don’t need the WP accounts.
Thanks,
Terry
No, it won’t change the password (it uses the same passwords).
Yes, you can delete the WP accounts if you don’t need them (as long as you keep the WP User integration options unchecked, it won’t affect anything).
