I am trying to protected content sections with video. I thought it was my Vimeo iFrame, then I was worried it was my page builder. So I created a test product with the test shortcode:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
Now you see me!
[/wp_eStore_APR]
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=expired]
Now you don’t!
[/wp_eStore_APR]No matter what I do I only get the page to come up from the encrypted link with the “Now you don’t” and other content that’s not contained within the shortcodes.
I tried changing the “/” at the end of my url with and without (I think it may not work at all without).
I’ve tried the testing links provided in three different browsers. I tried turning on the logging and purchasing the product again (I’m using manual with all settings to provide with link immediately.) Log says access denied when I try to view.
I tried marking the manual orders to paid.
I tried deactivating all other plugins that weren’t emember/estore.
FYI my eMember logged in or logged out protections work.
Help!

Inspect the page containing your test case, using a non-visual editor; to ensure that no extraneous characters are mucking up the shortcodes.
When you click the download link, an APR cookie is deposited in your browser session. Please ensure the cookie is not being blocked.
Finally, did you follow the procedure, for properly configuring the APR product in eStore?
Also, please check steps 2 & 3 of the troubleshooting section on APR.

March 19, 2021 at 5:25 pm #82751wzpModeratorDid you perform these troubleshooting steps???
Did you check the test page with a non-visual editor to ensure there are no extraneous characters in the shortcodes?
March 19, 2021 at 6:54 pm #82752adminKeymasterYou can’t test this using “incognito” mode since it will not work there. This needs to be tested on a standard browser usage environment (not private or incognito mode). Did you look at this on a normal browser setup?
March 20, 2021 at 6:03 am #82753juliemarie99ParticipantYes, I did do the troubleshooting and posted content from my text view (not visual)– no special characters. And I did NOT use incognito. Do I need to open a support ticket?
March 20, 2021 at 6:06 am #82754juliemarie99ParticipantIt appears that my very long post just before “additionally I turned off pop-up blockers” is missing from this thread which detailed all of my troubleshooting per suggestions. Perhaps it was removed because I posted links to my product, and purchase link and all the info on the troubleshooting. Perhaps I need to go ahead and open a ticket.

March 20, 2021 at 5:18 pm #82756adminKeymasterI will take a look at your setup to best understand the situtation. I have sent you an email for it.
March 22, 2021 at 9:15 pm #82761adminKeymasterThe server configuration is wrong. It doesn’t have the correct value configured for the following server variable:
$_SERVER[“SERVER_NAME”]
So the cookie permission is failing due to incorrect domain name being in the server name variable.
