Approving affiliates manually?

Hi there. I need the ability to manually approve all affiliates. I just got your plugin this week and from what I can tell the users just fill out the form and they are added as an affiliate. Is there a way to have them sign up and leave them pending in a list until someone can go in and approve them?

Update: There is an option to enable manual approval of affiliates by checking an option in the settings.

Nope, the affiliate plugin do not have options for “Affiliate Approval” yet.

We kind of have a method to do what you are after. Use the “Send Signup Notification to Admin” option to get a notification email after someone signs up as an affiliate. At this point you can choose to keep them or delete them by deleting the affiliate profile (meaning you didn’t approve that user).

Does that leave the affiliate in a ‘pending’ status until I can approve them? Or, are they automatically approved?

They are automatically approved. There is not a pending option at this time.
