Anyone Can Register – necessary?

Can I uncheck the Anyone can register option under wp > Settings > General and only have signup through eStore + eMember? Will eMember be able to register members with this option deselected?

Yes, eMember can register members even if you do not have the anyone can register option checked in the core WordPress settings. If you want to create corresponding WordPress users for your members then this documentation will help:
