Another Problem/Solution – eMember – PayPal Instant Payment Notification Warning

We recently had an issue with Instant Payment Notifications failing on a site we run. After having read most of the solution offered here, we could not find the problem.

We did in the end find the solution.

We had left the wp-content directory writable by “group” and “others”(777). This caused SuPHP security to block access to – eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php

It was a ‘rookie mistake’ of ours left over from a server move.

Returning the directory permissions to 755 solved the issue.

Just thought I would pass this on.
