Once the purchase has been made I get a encrypted link and it goes to the youtube page but when I click on play I get “An Error Occurred. Please try again later.” I have gotten this on three videos. The video play fine if you go to them on youtube without the encrypted link.

So, you are trying to use YouTube; to host video files; that you are selling using eStore?

You seem to be directly linking to YouTube page. YouTube won’t allow you to do that for security reasons. What you need to do is embed the YouTube video on one of your page then sell access to that page. You cannot sell access to a page that is on the youtube.com domain because you do not own that domain.

Thanks! I will give that a try.

Ok, I have done that and it now works but I am trying to make the video private so that it cannot be shared. I was able to take the Share and Title off the video by adding code to the embed link but was unable to take the Watch on YouTube option off. So people that purchase the video can still watch it on YouTube and then share it. That defeats the encrypted link functionality that I am using.

How can I make the video where only people that purchase it can watch it and for them to not share it or watch it on YouTube?

You would first host the video files on Amazon S3, and then use a product like

    Lightbox Ultimate.

You would then use eStore’s APR feature to sell access to the video.
