Tagged: lightbox ultimate amazon s3
I’m having trouble with the Ultimate Lightbox plugin. I added a files to my Amazon S3 account, put in the keys in the settings, and added the shortcode on the page. The idea is that they will click on the picture, and the secure file will open; however there’s nothing that appears on the page. I did try putting the entire Amazon URL where it says name=””, and that gave me an error message saying to only use the filename. So at least I know that something seems to be working.
Here’s the shortcode I’m using:
[wp_lightbox_anchor_text_secure_s3_pdf_file name=”A-Andress.pdf” bucket=”Surname” width=”640″ height=”480″ title=”A – Andress” source=”http://www.sdbhistory.org/wp-content/uploads/surname/A%20-%20Andress.jpg”%5D
The page that this is on is protected, but I can send the credentials to you via email if you let me know where to send it. Before we weren’t using Amazon S3, and the plugin worked. The file just pointed to our server. So I’m not sure what’s going on but any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve created a sample page so you can take a look at what’s happening. http://www.sdbhistory.org/test-amazon-s3-ultimate-plugin-page/ There should be three additional files/images that appear A-Andress, Andrews-Axtell, and Ayars-Babcock D. Those are the ones that are pointing to the Amazon S3 files. The others are just pointing to local files and seem to be working fine.
It looks like you have a capital letter in your bucket name and spaces in your file name, “%20” means there is a space there.
Amazon is picky about bucket and file names. Please see the following post:
Note this is for the eStore but it talks about proper bucket and file names.
