    Hello,

First let me say what an great plugin this is. I tried so many and was ready to give up when I found this. It’s so simple but does so much!

Anyways, I’m using Amazon S3 and I’m having trouble understanding something. I’ve got the links right and I’m able to get the download with no problem.

What I don’t understand though is the file permissions. You have on this page that I need to uncheck all the boxes for “everyone” grantee to keep it private: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/amazon-web-services-simple-storage-service-aws-s3-integration-1101

The only way I can get the download to work at all is to make sure that the open/download box is checked. When I uncheck it, I get an access denied error.

If I need it to have it unchecked, can you help me find out what I’m doing wrong?

Again, thanks for making such a great plugin!

What it usually means is that your public or secret keys are incorrect. When the keys are incorrect, and the permissions are “public,” Amazon will quietly let you in with the wrong keys.

Make sure both your keys are properly entered. Be particulary wary of trailig blanks that may have been copy/pasted into the fields. Hand type the keys, if necessary.

Thanks for the speedy reply! Just double checked and hand typed and no change.

OTOH, if I set it to force the download rather than open in a new tab, would it even matter?

All good. I generated new keys and now it’s working properly. Thanks again!

No it wouldn’t matter; because what you are doing there is affecting the “media disposition” of the content.

All good. I generated new keys and now it’s working properly.
