Does Estore work with the Amazon cloudfront, I believe this is an extra service for better/faster deliverability that sits on top of s3, here is the link:

    http://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront

Can the WP Estore be configured to use this service?

    Thank you!

At this time, eSotore only supports regular S3 integration…

    Hi wzp!

Your post is from 2 years ago. So what about now? Can eStore be configured to use the Cloudfront service?

    Cheers

Amazon Cloudfront is not really something that anyone wants to use with eStore. Cloudfront comes in handy when you are using streaming content (like a video).

We use Amazon S3 for eStore which is the preferred option. What are you trying to do with eStore that Amazon S3 is not allowing you to do?

    Thanks for your reply.

My product is primarily videos that are hosted on Amazon S3. My understanding is that Cloudfront is essentially a CDN for S3, so I was hoping it would increase the download speed for my customers after they purchase.

If you are offering the video as a download then Cloudfront won’t really do much for you.

If you are embedding the amazon S3 video on a page then Cloudfront will be useful. This is why the Cloudfront option is available in our lightbox ultimate plugin (that plugin is used to embed videos on your site):

Okay, thanks for clearing that up.
