MemberHello. I don’t know if I already have this option within WP lightbox, VF WordPress Flowplayer or Nextgen Pro and overlooked it but I want to allow my registered users the option of embedding their own Youtube or other video sites within a page/user area on my site.
I can find plenty of plugins where I can do this, but none where it allows registered users to do this…am I missing something obvious?

KeymasterEmbed where? Also, can you be a little more specific in terms of which eMember feature you are using or referring to so I have a better context?

MemberHi, thanks for getting back, I’ll try and explain this a wee bit better.
I want my registered members (free or paid) to be able to embed their Youtube videos ie playing guitar etc. within the Institute without me having to get an email and then embed the videos for them, ie they can do it from within the membership area.
I guess this is not so much a support question re eMember or WP lightbox etc but a general question to people in this support forum for advice on any WordPress plugins for Youtube that can facilitate this kind of feature.

ModeratorUse bbPress (the forum software you are using here). Members are assigned to the “Subscriber” role (for bbPress). A plugin like “GD bbPress Attachments” is used, so that members can upload their attachments to the posts:

There are also bbPress plugins that allow you to embed YouTube videos into the posts:

KeymasterOur eMember plugin integrates with bbPress too. So if you needed to make some forums posts members only, you will be able to do that.
PS. I have moved this post to the “General” section.
