Hi, the password sent from plugin when member clicks on Forgot Password is very difficult to remember.
I would like to allow members can change password after access their accounts again. Is possible? Thank you!!
Hi erickguerreiro, having a complex password is the best way to keep an account secure. However if you let your members know that they can reset their password by clicking on the following link “Forgot Password” which is located at the bottom of the login form.
Members can change their passwords, on their member profile page. Have you created an edit profile page for your site?
Documentation here:
Perfect! It’s working like a charm! Thank you!!
I can update the password successfully in the profile edit area but if you click to another member protected page, then you are logged out and redirected to the member login page. It also displays a Bad Cookie Hash’ error in red which doesn’t look particularly good.
Is this normal operation of the plugin?
After a user changes the password, he/she needs to re-authenticate using the new password. The plugin will give a message to the user the tells him/her to do that.
