All sales without a referring affiliate tracked to a particular affiliate

When a client buys directly from the site without any referral at all, the client is for some reason linked to a particular affiliate id. (can provide the specific affiliate id but not on forum for data protection reasons).

This happens when the client visits the site direct. I have checked for any accidental affiliate links in the normal process but cannot find any.

I am confused and unsure what to do next.

Have you done a customization before and defined a “default Affiliate”?

I have just checked and both files are default values ‘None’.

I am very confused about it as I cannot think where the id is coming from.

Lets investigate this a little see what is going on this site. Please provide the following details:

1) A link to your landing page in question (where you have the payment button)

2) Which integration you are using (simply link to the integration documentation that you have followed from our site).

3) Enable debug by checking the enable debug field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin so you can provide us some log data when we ask for it.
