After update shipping costs remain for digitals too

Hello, think to have a problem: today a customer bought from my site a digital photo and he paid also for shipping costs (shipping only for physical).

trying to find out the problem i notice that

– if you buy 1 digital and 1 or more prints shipping costs are correctly charged for physical product;

– if customer change idea and removes physical by cart the shipping costs are always charged.

do have some hints?
