    Hello,

I am using the following settings:

    Enable After login Redirection: TRUE

Enable Auto Login After Registration: TRUE

    After Login Page: http://www.hypnosiswithouttrance.com/members/

    After Registration Page: http://www.hypnosiswithouttrance.com/members/welcome/

I would like the user to be sent to /members/welcome/ after successful registration, but they are being sent to /members/

    Is this the expected behavior?

    Thanks!

Please tell me what version of eMember you are using.

    Hi,

Apart from specifying the URLs you mention above in the Settings->Pages/Forms Settings,

have you checked to see whether you might be specifying something in the “Redirect After Login” field which can be found in the membership level settings which could be overriding the main settings?

Note that “You can specify the after login page in the member’s profile or membership level or in the pages settings menu.”

Okay, you have a slight mistake in your setup. The plugin is working as you have specified it to. This is the flow of events which will help you see your mistake:

Registration is complete -> It is triggering the after registration redirection -> Then the auto login is getting triggered -> then the user is getting logged into the site -> Then the after login redirection is getting triggered.

You specified it to go to the “/members/” page after the login and it is doing that fine. If you want the user to go the “/members/welcome/” page after the login operation is complete then specify the URL of the “welcom” page in the “After Login Page” field.

OK, so is it NOT possible to have this outcome:

User gets auto-logged in upon registration and is redirected to a welcome page.

All future logins redirect per the membership level’s assigned ‘after login page’.

    ???

The user will always get redirected to the “After Login Page” that you specify in the general settings or the membership level or the member’s profile (for user specific redirection).

There is no option to do *once off* redirection after the login.

    Interesting.

Any suggestions on a hack? I need to make this work and will write some code to make it happen.
