After registration message

Can you please tell me how to change this message that appears after someone registers

Please check your email and follow the link to complete the registration.

How can I change this to give some more instuctions ex: Please check your email for registration completion Instructions.Please check your spam folder email such as gmail has been known to add these messages to spam folder so please check your spam folders before contacting me saying you didnt receive registration link.

Becuase I have alot of members who use gmail and hotmail and I have found that most of the time when they say the didnt get email it was because it went to spam
