Tagged: minimum commission
I’ve been running some test payments through WP eStore, and since I had also been testing affiliate links before that, they all came through as purchases with affiliate payments.
The payments were only $0.01 each, so it’s not a big deal, but I notice that it says the number of sales was eight, with a total sales amount of $0.08 and total commission amount $0.08.
Why is this showing up as 100% commission, instead of the 50% that I have set up in general settings and for all affiliates? Is it because the amount is so low?
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Amy
Hi Amy, Yeah its because of the amount that you are testing with. 50% of .01 is going to be .01 as it rounds up. Try a number like $1.00 for testing affiliate sales so you can get a good picture of the commission data.
OK, that makes sense, just wanted to make sure. I’ll do some more testing with a higher price point.
Thanks!
