I am using WP estore, WP affiliate, and Wishlist member.

I have reviewed the forum and the only setting I can find that had to be checked in configuration was “Use Automatic Commission Reversal” which it is checked.

However I have processed a refund in PayPal and WP estore deleted the transaction, but the affiliate commission is still owing. Please advise if there is another setting I need to make or change to get this functioning properly. Thank you

    Wp estore – v 6.9.1.7

    WP affiliate – v 5.3.3

    Wishlist – v 2.71

    Thank you

Do you have the “Use Automatic Commission Reversal” option checked in the affiliate plugin settings? Make sure to check that if you want eStore to reverse the commission from a refund.

Out of curiosity… was a coupon used for the original purchase? In other words.. are you using coupons in your eStore plugin?

As I mentioned Use Automatic Commission Reversal is checked in the affiliate plugin settings.

No coupon was used on the original purpose. I do however use coupons for different promotions, but no coupon was used in this case.

Do you have a paypal sandbox? Can you please do a test refund and share the contents of the ‘ipn_handle_debug.log’ debug file here?

I do not have a Sandbox. Is there any instructions you can send me too and I will setup the PayPal Sandbox?

Thank you, I appreciate the help

You do not need to setup sandbox. Simply enable debug then do a live test transaction for a $1 product. Make sure you are doing an affiliate click before the transaction so you can simulate an affiliate purchase. After the transaction, issue a refund and then share the debug file content.

This post will explain how to enable debug:
