One of my affiliates has told me there is a problem with coding. As this is done via the plug in I don’t know why he has a problem. He has logged on as an affiliate to access the code for the banner. He says

e.g. for the first banner the code for me should be…

    “< a href=”http://www.amazingpeople.co.uk/ten_steps_job_love.htm?ap_id=Jan_Hyde”><img src=”http://www.amazingpeople.co.uk/amazing/wp-content/uploads/10-Steps-to-a-Job-You-Love1.jpg” alt=”10 Steps to a Job you Love eProgramme” border=”0″ />”

I say ‘for me’ because it has within it “ap_id=Jan_Hyde” which lets your affiliate system know the link was followed from our website rather than another.

BUT the actual text that is copied when he highlight, select and copy it all is “- See more at:

Can you let me know if this is a problem and how I can best help my affiliate.

I have both WPeStore and WPaffiliate

    Thank you, Denise

Hi, As far as I can see.. the code is working correctly. The code you select and copy will directly be copied to your clipboard (just like how you copy text from a webpage). You can even test it by yourself. Simply create a test affiliate account, login to the affiliate panel and see how your banners/links are showing up. This will allow you to see if that code is incorrect or your affiliate is misunderstanding it.
