I have a client who owns WP eStore and wants to have affiliates sell one of her products. The product requires that the buyer fill out a one-page questionnaire which when submitted determines which of 16 possible product variations they purchase. The buyer is purchasing an e-book, ultimately.
So, is the Affiliate Platform capable of tracking sales like this? Basically, it doesn’t matter which of the 16 variations the buyer ends up purchasing, we just want to know which affiliate referred the sale.
The product is currently not sold by WP eStore, btw, but by a custom module written specifically for the purpose. The buyer fills out the questionnaire, gets a brief overview to verify their answers, then a single PayPal button which completes the transaction and delivers the correct version of the e-book based on the answers.
