I bought the software hoping I can setup pay per lead with it. My question is, Apart from the contact form integration, when an affiliate signs up via the normal signup by wp affiliate platform, does the referring affiliate get credit for that?
Can we have set commissions go to affiliates when the affiliates refers another affiliate to register via the normal regsitration form. Can we setup the commission as pending until the referred affiliate takes an action.
Please help
August 19, 2012 at 6:18 am #48485adminKeymasterAll of the available premade integration options of the affiliate plugin are listed in our documentation page under the “Integration Options” section.

Any solution that is not listed there requires custom integration.
With that said, you may be after a tier commission structure. Please read our tier commission feature documentation to see if that helps:

August 19, 2012 at 3:36 pm #48486tvchostMemberI have taken time to read those tutorials. I guess you understand what I am trying to achieve. Basically, What I’m after is this:
An affiliate refers another affiliate and earns a commission for that lead-That is pay per lead-That is what I am trying to achieve.
Now I read about integrating pay per lead using contact forms, but my question is, what happens to the WP Affiliate Platform registration generated leads. Is there no way for affiliates to get credit for the leads they sign up who just registers from that form.
That is what I was hoping to achive.
Also, how can I import my affiliates in another software to the WPAP
Thanks

August 21, 2012 at 3:29 am #48488adminKeymasterThe definition of Pay Per Lead depends on what you consider a “LEAD”. Most users consider a customer who comes to the site and submits a contact form to be a lead. The admin of the site will pursue this user to purchase something later.
We take the standard approach where an affiliate sends a customer to your site who then fills out a contact form and becomes a lead. If you want to consider someone who becomes your affiliate a lead that is fine by me and we can give you a custom solution for that too.
August 22, 2012 at 9:17 am #48489tvchostMemberThanks for the reply. Sure, I would like the referred affiliate to be a lead as well, while the person who referred him gets a credit for it. Though the credit is set to pending until the referred takes a specific action.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

August 25, 2012 at 6:13 am #48492tvchostMemberI replied your email.
But I didnt say this in the mail. Regarding the affiliate import. I must have messed up with the PHP my admin trying to do that and even scattered my website for over 8 hours. Thank God for backups.
Truth is I really need to move my users who are at the moment been managed by another software, JEM precisely, into this software. Any other help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
