Hi, I’m using the the affiliate platform plugin on my 5 items review site and the satellite addon on my 5 WP salespages. I could not find any info on DLGuard (DLG) even though it is a very popular payment system. It is connected with my PayPal account so I tried the 3rd party integration using my PayPal PDT but the affiliate sale does not show up, only the click is recorded. Everything else works except this problem.
October 31, 2013 at 3:55 am #58576mbrsolutionSpectatorHello eluv007, Did you read the following tutorial http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/plain-paypal-button-and-affiliate-plugin-integration-168?
Kind regards
November 1, 2013 at 4:32 am #58577eluv007MemberHi again, I couldn’t get DLG to work but I had bought your e-shop plugin also. I have installed the affiliate platform on my review site. I have installed the satellite affiliate plugin on my sales page and also the e-shop plugin on the salespage. I have followed all the instructions and videos for all the settings on all 3 plugins. I registered myself an affiliate account and made purchases through my affiliate link using a different PayPal account. I had installed a purchase now button using the instructions. Everything seems to work when I make a purchase through my affiliate link from payment to download. I receive the emails (PayPal receipt for my payment, receipt for receiving the payment in my plugin PayPal account and a email to seller saying I made a sale and the product in the e-shop on the salespage shows the sales. When I go into my affiliate account, it shows the clicks but does not register the sales or commissions. I have spent a day and a night on it and am very frustrated. I’m not a newbie, I have built many websites both html and wordpress and have a successful business selling the trading systems that I create. I just think it’s time to get others selling for me also. Would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Ed
November 1, 2013 at 4:50 am #58578adminKeymasterI am pretty sure you have complicated the setup with a bunch of different WordPress installs. Read the following post which will explain a few things when you are using different WordPress installs but expect the plugins to communicate between themselves:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wp-multisite-install-and-plugin-behavior
Once you understand that bit then give me the following info and I will tell you where you have gone wrong with the setup:
1) A link to the landing page of your product (where you have a purchase button created with eStore product)
2) An affiliate link that you are using to test
3) URL of the site where you have installed the affiliate plugin
4) URL of the site where you have installed the satellite affiliate plugin (in normal situation you should never have to use this addon plugin). I can’t see a forum post from you where we instructed you to use that addon.
November 1, 2013 at 5:03 pm #58579eluv007MemberHi, I am going to follow your instructions above. When I bought the affiliate platform and e-store plugins a few days ago and explained to Ivy that I wanted the affiliates to bring clients to the review site but for purchasing and finding out more about the system that they are interested in, they need to click on the link to the individual wp salespage site where they would purchase the product if so desired and he told me, the best way to go was with the satellite plugins. If there is a better or easier way, I would definitely like to know how. Ed
November 1, 2013 at 11:45 pm #58580adminKeymasterThere is also the option to use the pass thru link:
Whenever you are using more than ONE wordpress installs and you want the plugin’s to communicate in some way between these installs, the setup is not going to be trivial. So in situations like that, it is best if you tell me your setup in terms of which install is using which plugin and what you are planning, I should be able to guide you a little.
