MemberHello,
I have a question. I have an account with 7 sites linked to it with different buttons. On the install it says I have 2 options. I am using option 1 but have a question (pasted below).
Option 1) Integrating PayPal Button Using PayPal’s PDT Feature (Easier Option)
This option takes advantage of the PayPal’s PDT (Payment Data Transfer) feature to receive the payment confirmation on the “Thank You” page and award the commission after a payment.
Step 1: Create a “Thank You” page in your WordPress (This is the page where you will send your customers thanking them for the purchase after they make a payment). Keep note of the URL of this page.
Step 2: Create your PayPal button as you normally do but make sure to use the URL of the “Thank You” page created in step 1 as the “Return URL” for this button. This page does not have to be the “Thank You” page… it can actually be the URL of any WordPress post or page on your site.
Step 3: Go to the settings menu of the Affiliate Platform plugin and find the “3rd Party Integration” section (see screenshot below). Check the “Enable 3rd Party Cart Integration” and fill out the “PayPal PDT Identity Token” field.
Will my other PayPal button be redirected to the thank you page for this site if I place the thank you page URL in PayPal to get the Token? Please advise as this is holding up my launch for the affiliate program. If it will what is the best solution to my problem as option 2 seems out of my league (not a developer).
Thank you,

ParticipantWhen you create your PayPal button you can specify a Return URL variation in the button. This variable tells PayPal where to redirect the customer to after the payment. If add the URL of your thank you page to this variable and PayPal will redirect the buyer to this page after the payment and the PDT details will be sent to this page (given you have enabled PDT in your PayPal account).

Please advise how to solve this?

ParticipantI am pretty sure the PDT token you specified in the settings menu is wrong (make sure you don’t have any space at the end of the token).
If the PDT token does not match then the payment verification will fail.
