Tagged: Javascript error, login error
On my computer, Windows 10 fully patched running Chrome fully patched affiliate and estore work perfectly.
On an affiliates system, also 10 and chrome each fully patched, she gets the error
“Sorry, there was an error. Please be sure JavaScript and Cookies are enabled in your browser and try again.”
We checked every setting in chrome and hers are exactly the same as mine.
she gets the same error in firefox.
But all works perfectly on my computer.
Suggestions?

That error message is NOT coming from the affiliate plugin. There must be another plugin on your site showing that message.
Please do the following plugin test to see which plugin that message is coming from:

You were correct.
wp-spamshield interfered
Thanks, Richard
Found a setting in WP-Spamshield “Disable anti-spam for miscellaneous forms.” Check this box and the plugins all work.
thanks again,
Richard
