Affiliate- If I set up 2 tier affiliate from one tier, will it override the old

I set one tier affiliate program with estore for 20% originally,but now I decide to change it to two tiers, my question is if I change it according to your tourial, do I need also change individual’s affiliate’s % one by one? I mean, in WP Affiliate Platform – Manage Affiliates , I have a default comminssion Level 20%, and if I did the following:

1.Go to Commission setting: cancel my original Commission Level 20%

2.Go to 2nd Tier affiliate settings: choose my first tier and second tier commission and duration.

Do I need go to Manage Affiliates to change individual commission (in my case 20%)?

You will be fine if you do what you outlined above. When you specify commission levels on a product it will override the commission set in the affiliate profile for that product.
