We are selling download products using WP eStore and WP Affiliate. The products have been set up in eStore with payment via PayPal. We are VAT registered in the UK so must charge 20% on the products we sell. This is set up in the general settings / Shipping & Tax Related Settings so prices are quoted on the site excluding VAT. We are sharing the profits with a partner who is set up in the Affiliate program to receive a 30% share of the revenue. However he is not VAT registered and the VAT needs to be deducted before the 30% share is calculated. I note on a previous post (https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/tax-rates-vat-in-europe#post-13417) that this should be possible to set up but can’t see how to do it. Please can you advise?
Many thanks,

If you have have enabled tax option then why do you say that the prices are excluding VAT? Every transaction should be charging the VAT. Isn’t that happening? I need to establish that the VAT is being charged on your site correctly by eStore before I can move to the affiliate question you have. Can you please post a link to the page where you have your product?

You can see an example product on the test site at [http://acctemp.fionastoreydesign.co.uk/budget-plan-basic-model/] – as you will see the price quoted is £16 which is the price ex VAT – at the checkout a buyer would be charged £19.20 (£16+20%)and this works correctly. However our partner should get 30% of the price excluding VAT (i.e. 30% of £16=£4.20) but the Affiliate program currently allocates 30% of the price including VAT (i.e. 30% of £19.20 = £5.76).

You are using PayPal profile based tax and a buy now type button so the VAT is likely getting added inside the main product price. I should be able to solve this once I can confirm my suspicion.
Please enable debug in the eStore plugin then do a test transaction and then let me know so I can analyze the debug and be sure before I make a change.
This post will tell you how you can enable debug:
