Hi,
we don’t know how the Plugin comes up with a Commission and set everything up correctly. We tried several things, but need to ask here now.
This is what we get now: (Sales/Comm Data)
Sales Amount: 29.85€
Commission Amount: 1.00€
Commission Level for Affiliate set to: 25 (%)
Used Coupon: 10%
We want to achive:
1.) Affiliates should only use couponcodes (for example: 10%) for their marketing
2.) If a coupon (10%) is used by a customer, the customer get’s 10% off and the
3.) affilate gets 25% commission from the sel

November 28, 2017 at 11:11 pm #76807adminKeymasterI didn’t fully understand your question. Let me get some more info from you so I can provide an answer.
I am guessing you are using the woo-commerce integration. Is my assumption correct?
Please enable the debug option in the affiliate plugin settings. Then do a test transaction using the scenario you mentioned. Share the content of the log file from the transaction you just did. It will have numbers that explain the commission calculation. Please share the data from the log file so I can check it.

sorry fot the delay. Annexed the logfile. As i see by myself everything is correct. But i don’t know why the plugin didn’t calculate on the global (Wp Affiliate Settings –> Commission settings) set 25%?
1.) It calculates with 0% when in an product is nothing set
2.) It calculates in my example with 10% when i set it individually in the product to this amount.
what i want is a global 25% and on some products a 10% commission, without making a individual setting in each and every product. the perfect solution would be if the individual commission of an affiliate overwrites this, except if it’s set up on product-level.
hope you know what i mean?
cheers

December 1, 2017 at 11:19 pm #76809adminKeymasterLet me explain to you how the commission calculation works (I think there maybe a little misunderstanding there). It works the following way:
1) First, if there is a product specific commission value then it will use that to calculate the commission. You can edit an woocommerce product and set a product specific commission level (if you want to).
2) If product specific commission is missing (meaning you did not specify any product specific commission in the woocommerce product settings) then it will use the commission value set in the affiliate’s profile to calculate the commission. You can edit an affiliate’s record to change their commission level if you want to.
3) If the above two are missing then it will use the default value from the settings to calculate the commission.
With that said, if you want the 3rd option then you need to make sure that the 1st and 2nd option doesn’t contain a value. Make it empty. Let me know how it goes after that.
