affiliate commissions on subscriptions

If someone signs up for a subscription through Emember connected to affilaite platform, will aff platform log the affiliate commission each month and ascribe it to that affiliate. I want affs to be able to sell a monthly subscription with a duration of 12 months, and get their slice each month from referrals for the duration of the subscription. Is this how aff platform works?
