I am using eStore and eAffiliate together. Today I noticed an issue I had not experienced before. I have a base rate commission level of 5% set across all affiliates. On a product I have a product specific commission of 8%. When the product is sold as a single unit the commission applied to the affiliate is correct.
Today a customer purchased 3 of the same product. The resulting commission on the order became 24% (3 x 8%). This should not be the case. The commission should be 8% of the unit cost multiplied by 3, instead it seams to be 8% multiplied by 3 and then applied to the total cost of all 3 units.
How do I correct this so that the commission is 8%. I imagine if someone buys a quantity of 4 then the commission will change to 32% of the total order.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there a solution?
Thanks

October 5, 2010 at 9:01 pm #24797David KakonMemberI have the same problem. If someone purchases the following 1$ product I get:
1 item, commision set at 15%, I get 0.15$ on a sale of 1$
2 of same item, commision set at 15%, I get 0.60$ on sale of 2$ (2×0.15% of 2$)
3 of same item, commision set at 15%, I get 1.35$ on sale of 3$ (3×0.15% of 3$)
.
.
5 of same item, commision set at 15%, I get 3.75$ on sale of 5$ (5×0.15% of 5$)
get it? Seems it is multiplying the factor of the amount of items that are the same.

January 4, 2011 at 12:31 pm #24803jbhMemberHas this problem been resolved? I just had a similar/same problem.
I have a $5 item, that was purchased 5 times. My commission rate is 25%. The total commission amount on the sale was $31.25 and the total sale price was $25.
The commission should have been $5 x 5 x 0.25 = $6.25
What seems to have been calculated $25 x 5 x 0.25 = $31.25
January 4, 2011 at 11:50 pm #24804IvyMemberHi, What version of the WP Affiliate are you using?

December 31, 2012 at 11:42 pm #24806adminKeymasterHi, Please give an example. What are the item prices, what are the commission rates, how much commission was awarded and what did you expect that didn’t happen?
Are you using eStore and the affiliate plugin together?
