1) A link to your landing page in question: hhsolos.hhsolos.host.wdmmedia.info
2) The affiliate link that you are using to test: hhsolos.hhsolos.host.wdmmedia.info/?ap_id=test
3) What are you using to handle the eCommerce/sale side of things (PayPal button or eStore plugin or any other plugin?): WordPress Simple Shopping Cart v4.4.4
4) Which integration you are using (simply link to the integration documentation that you have followed from our site): I tried both (without overlapping). Currently on Method 1.
5) Enable the debug logging option by checking the enable debug field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin: I have done this and performed a test run. Nothing was anything on the output.
November 30, 2018 at 12:06 am #78850adminKeymasterokay so it looks like something is messed up with the “add to cart” button you have on your landing page.
It seems like you are using our simple shopping cart plugin. However, when the add to cart button is clicked, it is suppose to add the item to the cart. Then you can do a check out from the cart. In your case, clicking the button causes it to go to paypal so that indicates that you have some hidden HTML code on that page which is breaking the page. This needs to be fixed first. Edit that page using the “Text” mode so you can see if there are any hidden HTML code (maybe left over from any previous paypal HTML button code that you used).
First, Please watch the video tutorial of the simple shopping cart from the following page so you know what the expected behavior of the “add to cart” button is:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-simple-shopping-cart-video-tutorial-969
Next, create a brand new test page where you can put the shortcode of the add to cart button and the shopping cart (as shown in the video tutorial mentioned above). Share a URL to that page so I can make sure your cart is behaving correctly on this page.
November 30, 2018 at 8:31 am #78851mal129MemberThanks, I have done as instructed. I tested it and still the same. Clicks recorded, commission not recorded, and no output on the debug file.

December 2, 2018 at 1:52 am #78852adminKeymasterEverything on the front-end looks fine. So at this stage it looks like the cart plugin is not even receiving the PayPal payment notification (IPN) after a payment.
Either your Paypal account doesn’t have the IPN feature enabled or you have a security plugin that is blocking the IPN feature. This needs to be resolved.
First, make sure your PayPal account has the IPN feature enabled. The following tutorial will be helpful (if you don’t know how to check it in your paypal account):
