Affiliate ad does not transfer to email as an ad…only shows HTML code as text.

We create the ads per instruction. When affiliate signs into their account and goes to ads, they highlight (select) html code per instructions. They then paste the code into an email and it shows as html code. When the email is sent the recipient receives html code and no ad, link, pic or anything useable.

How can we create ads for our less technical customer/affiliates to easily copy and drop into Facebook or email? Few of our customers have their own website for the html code to appear and we propose that they solicit referrals through social media, not an interim website

The standard HTML affiliate ad code is for websites. HTML code is something your affiliates use on their websites (this is a very standard practice in the affiliate marketing world).

The affiliate platform plugin allows you to create creatives which your affiliates can use in the email, facebook, twitter etc. Check the following video tutorial to learn how to create creatives for your affiliates:
