I am the admin of a WP eMembership site. I can’t add the email address related to my Admin status to the eMembership portion of the site, WHY? As an admin, I need to be able to preview pages that I am working on.
It seems that I need to maintain a secondary email address, add/edit that address to the eMembership plug-in and all related (protected) content that might be previewed. Open a new browser, log-in to the site using this secondary account. and when I want to preview, open that link in the new browser? Come on!
There is no need to create a new eMember account for your admin account. All you have to do is import your existing “admin” user into eMember. You can import any of your WP user into eMember from the following area:
WP eMember -> Members -> Import WP Users
You can also import your admin user into a separate membership level of eMember that has access to everything.
