Setup a website using latest version of eMember.
In settings, I have not ticked Hide Admin for All and Hide Admin for All except admin.
The admin bar does not show for any user. I have ensured that Showing toolbar when viewing site is ticked in Users/Your Profile.
I have tried unticking and ticking all combinations of the above. I do not have another plugins that allow settings for the admin_bar to be set.
What can this be?
March 6, 2018 at 6:49 am #77402adminKeymasterWhat happens when you deactivate the emember plugin? Do you see the admin bar with emember deactivated?
March 6, 2018 at 2:01 pm #77403ChalkySpectatorWhen I deactivate eMember the admin bar is visible to any user who logs in irrespective of their role.
March 7, 2018 at 2:41 am #77404adminKeymasterThank you. emember shouldn’t hide the adminbar (unless you enable the option in the settings of the plugin).
The users that you are talking about… are they just WP emember users or are they also logged into WP user also? Can you give me a test user’s login and the login page’s URL so I can test a login?

username pendine password rob7mo12
second created through eMember

March 8, 2018 at 2:15 am #77406adminKeymasterI also need the URL of your login page so I know where to go. I will send you an email for it so you can give me temporary access to the site also.
March 10, 2018 at 7:36 am #77407adminKeymasterYour site is actually working how it is suppose to. The standard emember user’s has nothing to do with WP users and it doesn’t show admin bar for them. Only WP users get the admin bar as that is a standard WordPess feature.
If you want the emember users to also have WP user accounts then you simply use the following feature of emember:

Thank you.
I don’t want the admin bar available for all users, only for those who have been created, by me, in WordPress and then imported into eMember. Is that possible?
March 11, 2018 at 3:39 am #77409adminKeymasterYes, you should be able to do that.
Basically, if they are logged into their WP user profiles, the admin bar will show. Our plugin doesn’t do anything with admin bar (other than the option to hide it). If you check the “Automatically Log Into WordPress” option in our plugin’s settings then it will log the user into their WP user profile (if one is available) and then the admin bar will show for them.
