Tagged: unlock
This is a new setup. I selected to auto create wordpress accounts when a membership is created and for both logins to login to the other too. I tried to import wp members, but it tells me there is a conflicting email address – when I look in the database I see the user (mine) in both the wordpress user table and the eMember user table.
Yet when I list members, the admin account isn’t listed (there are none in the list). And when I logout and try to login using the eMember login I can’t… The initial admin account isn’t treated like the rest of the accounts.
Why not?
For eMember to let you log in the user must be in eMember’s member database.
Two users can’t have the same email address (this is a restriction from WordPress).
Do the following:
Delete the member who has the same email address as the WordPress’s admin account. Now, import the admin account to eMember and you will be able to use this user details to log in via eMember.
