Additional customer information

Hi there,

Sorry if this is answered on the forum somewhere already, but I’ve tried searching but am not sure what to actually look for.

I have a whole bunch of old products on a site which are all the same price – is it possible to lump them all together as one product, have one ‘add to cart button’, but with an additional box where customers can enter a stock code of the item they want? (Obviously this won’t be a WP e-store product ID as they won’t have individual ones, it would just be the original stock code displayed with the list of products).

I suppose I’m basically after the sort of thing where customers could add in additional information prior to purchase (like delivery instructions for example) – but in my case it would just be for adding a a product number.

Hope that makes sense – any advice would be appreciated.

Doh!

Found it – it’s the ‘Collect Customer Input’ checkbox in the product.
