Adding tax to shipping fee

Hi T&T,

I’ve recently setup a client WP website using your brilliant e-store plugin. My UK based client needs to add tax to shipping as this is a requirement in the UK. How is this achieved within e-store, as I can only seem to apply tax to products.

Hi,

If you are using PayPal as the payment gateway, you can set tax and shipping costs in your PayPal profile.

Then you can set the eStore plugin to revert to “Use PayPal Profile Based Shipping” in your settings.

Hi Peter,

Tried this already only to discover PayPal don’t allow tax to be added to shipping. As my client sells to a B2B and B2C market, they have to add and show tax on products and shipping. eStore only adds tax to products, so is there a simple fix to eStore to make it apply tax to the subtotal + shipping?

We have added a feature to apply tax on shipping. You can enable this feature by checking the “Calculate Tax on Shipping Amount” option in the eStore’s settings menu.
