One of the most widely used direct transfer payment methods in Germany, which has 200 million speakers in the world, is Sofort Überweisung. (Translated “Immediate Transfer”) Germans don’t typically like to use credit cards or like to sign up to Paypal.
With Sofort Überweisung you insert your bank details and pay directly from your bank account and you can then get immediate access to any digital product. And never have to get an account.
What would it take to integrate with eStore with Sofort Überweisung?
There is a plugin out there that does it. But it can only make html forms. It can’t make urls as you can with your shortcode plugin. This is extremely important when you are using a payment form. You can’t have forms within forms according to the laws of html.
Shopping cart plugins seem to lack the ability to integrate with any form of direct banking (services that don’t require a mediating account like Paypal). This could be a step in the right direction for eStore.
