I’m want to add members to my site for added content and diversity. I want to offer a revenue split with them. Is there a way to set this up to where paypal will pay them for their content and their content only?
what i mean by member is a musician who produces content to sell on my site that I will split revenue with for hosting their music
PayPal do not allow payment splitting on a single payment. So the payment will need to go to one account and then the admin will have to pay the other person separately.
PayPal did promise to add an API for this a year ago… once they add this option I will add something in into eStore too.
How about through the Affiliate program software?
Is there a way to add the artists as Affiliates and pay them a percentage on their specific tracks?
Yeah, that’s possible
Can you elaborate on this. I have purchased the affiliate software.
I’d like to have multiple artist on my site getting paid a commission for the own work each time it is purchased. I need a way to link the artist to his or her songs. That way the artist only gets paid a commission for their own songs. Keeping the artist and thier songs linked to one another.
This is what I can add…
1. You will be able to specify the “Affiliate ID” of the prospect/the author of every product in the eStore when you configure the product.
2. When a product is sold it will automatically award a commission to the prospect that you have specified for that product.
So, basically for every sale it will award a commission to the prospect/author so you can keep track of how much you have to pay. Let me know if this makes sense.
This does make sense. This is what I’m looking for it to do. Does the software already do this? Am I missing it?
Nope it doesn’t do it just yet but this is on my to do list and I will put a high priority on it since two customers need it.
That’s great, Thanks for a great product. Thanks for caring to make it better.
