Hi,
I was wondering what I would need to do in order to add a facebook and twitter link to the bottom of my thank you emails? I’m using the WordPress email function and I thought I could just insert the html href into the email settings text field but that results in the entire a href tag being printed out in the email?
Thank you in advance for any advice!
You can use plain links in the email like the following:
Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/link-to-your-facebook-page
Twitter – http://www.twitter.com/link-to-your-twitter-page
You can also used shortened links so it looks clean
Another alternative is to create a page on your site with the Facebook, Twitter, Google plus etc. subscription options. Then place a link to this page in the email.
