I am in the process of adding eMember to my site (and the affiliate plugin as well), but am wondering how to add custom links to the sign-in widget that appear after the member has signed in – links like ‘Edit Profile’ and ‘Support Page’ on the demo site. I am running the Mingle community on my site as well and want to incorporate the various links for that, i.e. activity, forum, friends, etc.
I would really really appreciate being pointed in the right direction with this. Thanks!
If you specify the link to your “Edit Profile” and “Support Page” in the “Pages Settings” menu of eMember it will automatically display those links in the login widget after a member logs in.
The video tutorials are a good starting point:
Thank you for your response. But I’m actually asking about how to custom links to the widget…so I can add links to additional, non-eMember pages. In what file would I add those links. To, say, the member forum?
Ah I see. I misunderstood your question. I actually have a to do item to add an option in eMember so the admin can specify custom message that gets displayed in the login widget to the logged in members. You will be able to use HTML code in this custom message field so you can use it to place custom links in the login widget.
This won’t be a big job so I will add this feature in and send you an updated build of eMember. Please bump this post if you don’t hear from me within a day or two.
Awesome – thanks much!

I’d love to get a copy of that new build as well!
This feature was added in the plugin. You can get an update from here:
