I’ve searched the forum but haven’t found a good answer to this question.
I’m trying to add 20% off coupon for three select items–that’s it. None of the automatic discount settings really apply. Right now, the coupon code is good for the whole cart. How can I apply it to only a few specific items in the cart?
Thank you.
Hello…
During the coupon creation process you can set it up with conditions.
Example… this coupon only works when “Item Name” is equal to (or contains) ____
Look for “Conditions (optional)” below the “Add a Coupon” section in the Manage Coupons/Discounts screen.
Oh my, how did I miss that one? THANK YOU!
I have been searching the forum too about coupons, can you please let me know if there is a solution to the following:
I would like to create discount coupons (value and percent discounts) that I can email to a customer to use for a future purchase. So the coupon code creation is not linked to a purchase they make, it’s a promotional tool I want to use.
Additionally, I would like to be able to let the coupons expire after a specified amount of days.
Is that possible? How does it work?
You can create discount coupons from the coupons menu then email the coupon to your customer. Have a look at the discount coupon documentation:

Thank you, this is a fantastic feature I was not aware of.
