Adding a "setup fee" to become an affilate.

We would like to have and addition option beside FREE, to have affiliates purchase a higher commission payout. We need this to integrate into a third party classified ad theme. How can this be accomplished?

The easiest option is to do it manually. The flow would be:

1) An affiliate pays for a higher commission

2) Admin gets notified

3) Admin goes to the “Manage Affiliates Menu” of the affiliate plugin.

4) Find and edit the affiliate and set the new commission rate for his profile.

To automate this you will have to know what this 3rd party ad theme does after the payment. If it has a post payment handling script then that script can be modified to find the affiliate who paid and update the commission rate for his profile.
