I have used this plug-in several times in several places but this is the first time I am using “manual payment option” so I have not checked “use paypal” or “use multiple”
First of all when I arrive on the page it is often pre-populated with an item
When I remove the product to get an empty cart it looks fine but then when I put “add to cart” it goes to a “page not found”
I have found a few articles but none seem to help. Here is where I am testing it out [http://www.cabovapor.com/batteries/]
February 14, 2013 at 10:35 pm #53840wpCommerceModeratorHi, These posts should help you with this issue:
February 15, 2013 at 11:10 pm #53841ahugessenMemberOK, well good news/bad news.
It seems to be a theme issue as when I changed to the default theme it worked fine…. So I’m glad to have isolated the issue.
The challenge is, what can I do to fix this? I saw a few references to some code changes in the thread but it was unclear as to where those changes need to be made. The theme is called Clifden [http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/clifden-responsive-business-wordpress-theme/]
Please let me know if you need to see some of the files in order to help identify what needs to be removed/ edited
Thanks,
February 16, 2013 at 12:18 am #53842wpCommerceModeratorHi, you can try this workaround (upto “Step 5”):

February 16, 2013 at 2:48 pm #53843ahugessenMemberYes, I tried that when I went through the various articles. It works, however, it does not allow the user to “shop” the page… they cannot browse and add multiple products as they get sent to the checkout page the first time they click “add to cart”. This is not any kind of a solution except to people who only offer one product per page.
February 17, 2013 at 10:57 pm #53844adminKeymasterHi, yes you are right but the thing is that the issue is outside of this plugin (switching to any properly coded theme works fine which should tell you where the issue really is).
We were just trying to give you an alternative (some alternatives obviously won’t be suitable for everyone). HTTP posting on the same page on this theme is broken which is what you mainly need to fix. When you fix that, none of this will be an issue anymore.
