Hi, I want it so that when the user clicks on ‘add to cart’, they stay in the same position. Right now, even if I check or uncheck the allow shopping cart anchor, it takes me to the top of the page?

I have a lot of items, so need the user to stay in the same position when they add stuff

    Any ideas?

    Dear wpCommerce

    Thanks!

Looks like you have enabled the ajax option in the plugin. Please go to settings -> Advanced settings and turn off the ajax option. Ajax option makes it to where the page doesn’t move when you click the add to cart button.

    Dear Admin,

No, I don’t tick this box [Enable Ajax on Add to Cart Buttons].

    Please find out another reason.

    Thanks!

The cart anchor feature currently doesn’t work with the variations addon UI as that addon uses ajax too. We have plans to do some enhancement to address it. If your variations have already been configured, do you mind disabling that addon for now?

No, the variation settings will stay as it is now. Are you using inventory control for the variations too?
