Add recaptcha to squeeze forms

How do I add ReCaptcha to the squeeze forms? I am swimming in spam requests which is causing my email account to be flagged by Google, so I really need a way to validate the squeeze form. I tried rendering the squeeze form in HTML, but the form does not work anymore, even though the code matches exactly what is rendered when using the shortcode.
