Add gift wrapping option to Checkout page

Is it possible to add additional options to the checkout page?

my client is looking for the option to add gift wrapping (at a cost) to the checkout page along with an ‘Add Note’ textarea

The custom input field is passed back/forth between eStore & PayPal. As such, there is a limit on how much information can be transferred. The following post, offers a further explanation; along with some “options” you can consider:
