Add details button to Fancy 2 product display template

Hi, I would like to add a details button to Fancy 2 next to the buy now button. Would you be able to advise how to do this. Also, do I need to make a “child theme” like in WordPress so that updates don’t overwrite?

Hi, I think the easiest way to do that is to add it in the product description box. You can use HTML in the product description box. Simply edit the product in question then add a link to the details page in there. Let me know how that goes.

Thanks for your respomse. That was the first thing I tried. The problem is it also shows up in the detail page product description.

The same will apply even if you change the template. An alternative would be to create a duplicate of this product in estore. One will have the details link and the other won’t. Then you can use these 2 products in 2 different places.

Unfortunately I have over 1000 products and I already have to create a product and a detail page. It would be a lot of extra work.
