About the “Item already exists in the cart” message; is there a way to make this a bit more “elegant”, apart from changing the message itself in languages?
This could confuse and/or scare away some potential customers who accidentally added a product twice, as all they see is a red message and they can’t do anything about it, apart from wondering…
A simple solution would be to make it “transparent” and not having a message at all.
What do you guys/girls think, am I too high as usual?
Other ideas?
PS: leaving it blank like the following seems to work:
define("ESTORE_ITEM_ALREADY_EXISTS", "");
What are the consequences/potential issues of doing so, if any at all?
Hi,
There should be no adverse effects as far as I know. Just remember that if you upgrade your plugin in future you will need to make the change again. You should keep a backup of your language file when upgrading anyway so that shouldn’t be an issue either.
